The song 'Baare Baare' from the film Athani was unveiled in a grand celebration held in Dibbur, Tumkur. Vasudeva R Doddahejjaji, a farmer-turned-producer, produced the film under the banner of Abhay Khushi Movies and directed it by Samarth M. The release event saw the presence of KPCC State Vice President Muralidhar Halappa and actor/film editor Nagendra Urs, who jointly launched the track and wished the entire team success.
With lyrics penned by Raju Chitrapur, the song is brought to life by the soulful voices of Swathi Shankar and Harsiv Bhagheera, while the music is composed by Harsha Kugodu. Fans can now enjoy this catchy tune on the Abhay Khushi Music Channel.
Athani marks the directorial debut of Samarth, with Madhu from Hubballi taking the lead as the heroine. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Nagendra Urs, Shobharaj, Bhavya Yathiraj, Bala Rajwadi, Rakesh Poojary, Murthy, Vishnupriya, Srinidhi, Indra Kumar, and CG Dibbur, among others.
Set against a farming backdrop, Athani weaves together an engaging mix of crime, love, suspense, and comedy—elements that are sure to captivate audiences. The film features five songs composed by Harsha Kugodu.
The film has cinematography by Sandeep Honnali and editing by Sunay Jain. Filming took place in various picturesque locations, including Tumkur, Bangalore, Ramanagara, Honnavar, and Sakleshpur. With the tagline 'Dharani Mandala Madyadolage' now in post-production, the makers will soon announce the release date.
