Actor-director Ravichandran, who was last seen in Ravi Bopanna is all set to return to the big screen. This time, he will be essaying the role of a father in Supreeth's upcoming directorial Pyaar, produced by Nagasri under the SM Productions banner. The film promises a heartfelt depiction of love, sacrifice, and the deep bond between a father and his daughter.

Joining Ravichandran in this emotional journey are newcomers Bharath and Rashika Shetty, who play the lead roles. Sharing his thoughts on the project, Ravichandran stated, "I was approached by the team for this role in the film, and I felt their love and passion for the project. It is because of this love that I decided to be a part of Pyaar. The movie poignantly captures the essence of true love and the sacrifices it demands. I play the female lead's father, and it is a role that is dear to my heart. As an actor, I trust director Supreeth to shape my performance in this role."

Producer Nagasri expressed her joy at having Ravichandran onboard, saying, "It's a dream-come-true moment for me to have Ravi sir in our film. I came into the film industry with aspirations of directing, and having such a legendary actor in our project is an honour. His portrayal of a father will surely resonate with the audiences, making this a film that families can cherish together."

Pyaar has already completed 80 per cent of its shooting. Director Supreeth emphasised the unique angle of the story, stating, "We wanted to explore the depth of the relationship between a father and daughter. In Pyaar, the daughter's love and sacrifice for her father becomes the cornerstone of the plot. We're incredibly proud of how the film is shaping up."
