Sidlingu 2, starring Yogi and directed by Vijayaprasad, is all set for its grand release on February 14. The pre-release event recently took place, where the song 'Churumuri' was unveiled by actor and director Duniya Vijay, adding to the excitement.

The song composed by Anoop Seelin, with lyrics by Arasu Anthare. It is sung by Chinmayi Sripaada, whose lively voice adds a fun and energetic feel to the track.

A key moment at the event was when Vijay Kumar shared his journey with Vijayaprasad, stating, “Before I became a hero, Vijayaprasad gave me opportunities to grow by casting me in small roles in his serials. He’s a brilliant director, and his show Silli Lalli became a household favorite across Karnataka. Now, he brings us Sidlingu 2, a family-friendly film at a time when action-packed blockbusters dominate. This film shows that good cinema is still very much alive. A huge thanks to Yogi for being a part of this project—I hope it opens doors for more amazing collaborations, perhaps even Sidlingu 3 with another beautiful story.”

Vijay Kumar also praised Yogi’s versatility, adding, “I’ve always been a fan of Yogi. His ability to confidently take on any role is remarkable. He’s a unique talent, and with the right scripts, I believe he will become an even greater actor. I’ll always stand by him and support his journey.”

Yogi spoke about the legacy of Sidlingu, saying, “The first film was a game-changer, and we’re confident the second part will be just as appreciated. Working with Vijayaprasad has been a pleasure. A special thank you to Hari and Raju for believing in us.”

The event saw the presence of notable celebrities including Yogi’s father and producer TP Siddharaju, actor-director B Suresha, Seetha Kote, music director Anoop Seelin, and others.

Produced by Srihari and Raju Sherigar, Sidlingu 2 features Yogi, Sonu Gowda, Suman Ranganath, Seetha Kote, Mahantesh, Anthony Kamal, and Manjunath Hegde in key roles, with cinematography by Prasanna Gurlakere, music by Anoop Seelin, and editing by Akshay P Rao.
