As Landlord inches closer to its theatrical release, the film has found its emotional centre in 'Ningavva Ningavva,' a romantic song that has drawn attention for its simplicity and warmth. Unveiled at a grand launch, the song places Vijay Kumar and Rachita Ram, introducing audiences to Rachayya and Ningavva, a pairing that feels organic and emotionally grounded.

Written by Yogaraj Bhat, the song reflects his characteristic blend of intimacy and lyrical grace. Ajaneesh Loknath’s composition keeps the romance restrained, allowing the emotions and words to take precedence. Rendered by Vijay Prakash and Ananya Bhat, the track relies on melody rather than spectacle. Bhushan’s choreography remains subtle and rooted, offering space for expressions to guide the narrative, while Swamy J’s cinematography enhances the mood with calm, textured, and quietly evocative visuals.

The song launch evolved into a notable industry gathering, with actor couples Prem–Jyothi, Darling Krishna–Milana Nagaraj, and Tharun Sudhir–Sonal coming together to unveil the track. Their appreciation extended beyond formality, acknowledging the strength of the lyrics, the music, and, in particular, the performances of the lead pair.

For Vijay Kumar, Landlord appears to be a film driven more by character than scale. There was evident curiosity about how audiences would receive Rachayya, especially in a song that depends heavily on emotional restraint, while Rachita Ram’s portrayal of Ningavva has also drawn attention. Taking on a role that demands maturity and emotional depth, she brings a composed confidence to the screen.

With the audio rights already securing a strong deal, expectations around the film continue to rise. Produced by KV Satya Prakash, Landlord is set to release on January 23 and also marks the debut of Vijay Kumar’s daughter, Ritanya.
