Remember BS Avinash as an antagonist named Andrews from the KGF franchise? Of course, loyal fans of KGF should still know him as the one who brings Yash's hero Rocky on to the screen, as the latter looks to kill a character named Garuda. The actor, who is also known for his roles in Gurudev Hoysala and the Suriya starrer Kanguva, recently met his idol P Ravi Shankar on a flight. Avinash shared a selfie he took with the actor-writer-director on his Instagram Stories and wrote, "A person who I've largely been inspired by, his versatility in every character he plays on screen has been one of the main reasons I've wanted to be an actor. Extremely blessed to be sharing screen / acting alongside the great Ravishankar sir. Love and respect you a lot sir."
BS Avinash recently starred in Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly, opposite Rajinikanth in Vettaiyan, alongside Vijay Sethupathi in Ace, and with Jackie Shroff and Varun Dhawan in Baby John. Around the release of Good Bad Ugly, Avinash said that he "never met a hero like Ajith Kumar" before.
The actor made his debut in Tamil cinema as an antagonist, opposite Arya, in Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam (2023).
