Interval, a breezy coming-of-age entertainer directed by Bharat Varsha, has successfully completed 25 days at the box office. Backed by Sukesh and Bharat Varsha under the Bharatvarsh Pictures banner, the film has resonated strongly with young audiences across Karnataka.
The film follows the lives of three friends who all share the same name, humorously chronicling their journey from mischievous schooldays to college life and the struggles of job-hunting. Its relatable narrative and youthful energy have garnered widespread appreciation.
Marking the 25-day milestone, Googly director Pawan Wadeyar praised the team, saying, “This is an impressive feat in today’s scenario. The film was made and marketed by engineers, which is commendable. College life has been explored before, but this team brought in their own flavour. New voices like these deserve our full support.”
Director Bharat Varsha expressed his heartfelt gratitude: “We’re thankful to Puneeth Rajkumar for being a pillar of support and to Ashwini Madam, Sriimurali, and Dhruva Sarja for their encouragement throughout this journey.”
Lead actor Suesh Suki added, “It’s not just about the numbers—the mental satisfaction is priceless. Over 22,000 people have watched our film, and that means the world to us. Crafting a strong script and drawing audiences to the theatres isn’t easy, but when that clicks, everything else follows.”
Co-stars Shashiraj and Prajwal Kumar Gowda, along with Sahana Aradhya and Charitra Rao, credited the film’s success to teamwork and audience love.
The film’s soundtrack, composed by Vikas Vasishta, features songs by Vijay Prakash, Chandan Shetty, All OK Alok, Sunidhi Ganesh, and Vani Harikrishna. With Rajkanth’s cinematography, Chandru Bande’s action choreography, and Shashidhar’s crisp editing, Interval stands as a vibrant, homegrown hit.
