Two films share the title Naa Ninna Bidalaare: one directed by the seasoned Hemanth Hegde and the other a debut project by Naveen GS. Both titles pay homage to the 1979 Kannada horror classic Naa Ninna Bidalaare, starring the legendary Anant Nag and Lakshmi.
Naveen's version recently unveiled its teaser, launched by none other than Sharan. Produced by Bhaarti Bali and featuring Ambali Bhaarti, this film is a blend of psychological thriller, horror, and suspense elements. Sharan lauded the film's high production quality and Bhaarti's unwavering dedication, likening its action sequences to those of Puneeth Rajkumar.
Sharan, an avid horror film enthusiast, expressed his excitement about the project, reflecting on his own experiences in the genre. He mentioned the significance of the shared title with the 1979 hit, which adds a legacy to Naveen's debut.
Ambali Bhaarti, the film’s lead actor from Gulbarga, discussed her entry into the film industry. With a background in theatre and a stint at ISRO, she expressed her gratitude towards Sharan for his support and highlighted her dual role as both actress and producer. She said, “This project is very close to my heart, and I am thankful for the opportunity to contribute in multiple ways.”
The film also features Panchendriya, KS Sridhar, Srinivasa Prabhu, Harini Srikanth, Seerunde Raghu, Mahantesh, Lakshmi Siddaiah, Manjula Reddy, and Nagaraj Rao in prominent roles.
Director Naveen GS talked about the film’s impressive production values and its intricate blend of thrilling elements, setting the stage for a captivating viewing experience. The team behind the film includes action director Different Danny, cinematographer Viresh, and music director MS Thyagaraj.
