The third track from Maryade Prashne, 'Phirako Maar', has been released by the makers on Tuesday. This energetic rap number, written and performed by Dakhini rapper Pasha Bhai, brings a fresh hip-hop edge to the film’s soundtrack, which is composed by Arjun Ramu. Known for his earlier melodic and folk-influenced compositions for the film, the composer has taken a departure from his earlier styles with this latest track.
Arjun Ramu explained the motivation behind the song, saying, "We needed a track that would capture the raw energy and aggression of middle-class life. Working with Pasha Bhai, we crafted this rap with hard-hitting beats and a mass appeal that we believe will really resonate with the audience." The two-and-a-half-minute promo video, which accompanies the song, features the film’s lead actors—Sunil Rao, Rakesh Adiga, and Poornachandra Mysuru—and gives a glimpse into the film’s powerful portrayal of the resilience and fighting spirit of middle-class youth. The song is now available on the Sakkath Studio YouTube channel.
Maryade Prashne is a multistarrer that brings together a diverse cast, including Teju Belawadi, Shine Shetty, Prabhu Mundkur, and a strong supporting ensemble with seasoned actors like Nagabharana, Prakash Tumbinadu, Nandagopal, Nagendra Sha, Rekha Kundligi, Shravan, and Hariharan, all playing key roles in this intense drama.
Produced by RJ Pradeepa of Sakkath Studio, who previously gained attention for web series like Loose Connection and Honeymoon, Maryade Prashne marks his debut as a filmmaker. The film’s screenplay, dialogues, and direction come from Nagaraj Somayaji, who brings a gritty, authentic flavour to the narrative. With a soundtrack featuring five tracks by Arjun Ramu and lyrics by Pramod Maravante and Trilok Trivikram, the film promises a strong musical presence. Cinematography is by Sandeep Valluri.
Maryade Prashne is all set to get a theatrical release on November 22.
