Kishore Mudubidire, the director of the critically acclaimed Kannada film Malgudi Days, is all set to helm Rippen Swaamy. The upcoming film, which stars National Award-winning Vijay Raghavendra in a raw, gritty role, has already caught the audiences' attention with its film posters.

Currently in production, Rippen Swaamy is also set to feature actor Ashwini Chandrashekar in a key role. Ashwini, known for her performances in Prema Pallaki, Ondu Romantic Prema Kathe, and Octopus, has showcased her talent across multiple languages, including Telugu (Aavu Puli Madhyalo Prabhas Pelli) and Tamil (Jiivi series). In addition to acting, she is also a trained dancer. In Rippen Swaamy, Ashwini is set to play Mangala, a doctor. She shares the screen with Vijay Raghavendra for the first time, and the team has also revealed the actor's first look from the film.

Vijay, known for his versatility and preference for unique roles, will be seen in a rugged, compelling character. The supporting cast includes Prakash Thuminad, Vajradheer Jain, Yamuna Srinidhi, Mohan Sheni, and Krishna Murthy Kavathar.

The makers have completed over 48 days of shooting in the picturesque locations of Koppal, Kalasa, and Balehonnur. The music for Rippen Swaamy is composed by the renowned Malayalam music director Samuel Aby, with Ranganath CM handling the cinematography.
