R Chandru announces five new projects in multiple languages

Filmmaker R Chandru, known for his films Tajmahal and I Love You, and ventured into Pan India cinema with Kabzaa. Ready to expand horizons, the director-producer is launching a new banner, RC Studios, inaugurated by none other than Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday, in the presence of producer Anand Pandit, Real Star Upendra, Krishna, Jack Manju, K P Srikanth, among other dignitaries.

Chandru expresses his excitement, stating, "Kabzaa's success across languages inspired me to create RC Studios, a company headed by me. Interestingly, noted producer Anand Pandit, who had a successful collaboration with me in Kabzaa, releasing in the Hindi version across North Karnataka, will now be presenting all my future films. Additionally, our studio will collaborate with producer Alankar Pandian for various projects."

The director, adopting a corporate structure, has already finalized five subjects. The launch of all these five projects took place on Tuesday, inaugurated by the Chief Minister. The first one among the five is titled "Father," followed by "Dog," which is an action film. Then the third project is Shri Rama Baana Charita. While the directors have been confirmed, R Chandru himself will be directing two films. "I will be helming POK - Pak Occupied Kashmir and Kabzaa 2," Chandru shares, and he expresses, "Launching five films on one platform is a proud moment."

About his collaboration with Sudeep, Chandru clarifies that he had previously announced a project with Sudeep, and one of these films will feature the star, but details will be official when the project commences. Krishna was also present at the event, raising speculations about his involvement in one of the projects.

When asked if his focus will be on direction or managing the production house, Chandru explains, "Till yesterday, I was handling things alone, but today I have a system and a team. My focus will primarily be on directing, but I'll be part of the team looking at various scripts. After over 10 and a half months of reorganizing post-Kabzaa, I am thrilled to expand my cinematic venture across India."
