Kichcha Sudeep, the Abhinaya Chakravarthy of the Kannada industry, unveiled the trailer of Vinay Rajkumar's starrer Pepe, directed by Sreelesh Nair. During the grand event, Sudeep showered praises on Rajkumar and the entire team for their hard work in crafting a gripping action drama. He also reflected on the enduring legacy of the Kannada film industry, likening it to a majestic Banyan tree.
Drawing an evocative comparison, Sudeep remarked, “The Kannada film industry, which began as a small seed 90 years ago, has now grown into a grand Banyan tree. Like this tree, which endures through different seasons—winter, summer, and rain—the industry experiences its own cycles of success and failure. These are just seasons in the life of the industry.”
He emphasized that success and failure are merely phases and do not define one’s career. “I have had my share of failures, but they don’t define who I am. The best way forward is to continue making films and trust the audience. Keep doing good work, and the audience will support you,” Sudeep added.
Sudeep, visibly impressed by the Pepe trailer, described his reaction with enthusiasm. “I watched the trailer and was so thrilled that I stood up and clapped. I often release trailers and teasers, but I get genuinely excited when I see something outstanding. Vinay Rajkumar, who previously played softer roles, has transformed into a formidable hero in Pepe. This film marks the beginning of his real journey as an actor,” said Sudeep. He concluded by expressing his eagerness to see the complete film and lauded the efforts of director Sreelesh Nair, the music director, and all the technicians involved in bringing Pepe to life.
