Yadha Yadha Hi, a remake of the Telugu film, Evaru, is billed to be a murder mystery. Incidentally, the film marks the first on-screen appearance of Vasishta Simha and Hariprriya since their marriage. The film, which also stars Diganth, is slated for a Statewide release on June 2.

The trailer of Yadha Yadha Hi, which will be distributed by Jack Manju’s Shalini Enterprises, was unveiled at an event on Sunday. The title song, featuring the voices of Vasishta Simha and Haripriya, was also released at the event. The film also stars veteran actor Avinash in a pivotal role.

Telugu director Ashok Teja is making his Kannada debut with this film, which is backed by Rajesh Agrawal through the Guys and Dolls Creations banner. The film was shot over a span of approximately 55 days in Munnar, Chikmagalur, Hyderabad, Kerala, and Bengaluru.

Calling Yadha Yadha Hi an exceptional film, Diganth said, “The director hails from the Telugu industry and has successfully crafted this crowd-pleasing story, which is adapted from the famous Telugu novel, Yavadu.” The film stars Diganth as a police officer with multiple layers in his intriguing character.

Expressing his excitement about working in the film, Vashishta Simha said, “The film will take viewers on an engaging journey. The title song, written by Nagarjuna Sharma, beautifully depicts the struggles of the characters.” The actor also expressed his satisfaction with the final output, and said that the film has a unique concept and explores uncharted territories with love, deceit, and hatred forming the central theme.

Having watched the film already, Haripriya is visibly excited. “On the sets, Vasishtha, Diganth, and myself developed a certain kind of competition among ourselves,” says Hariprriya, who plays an intense character. “The story revolves around three exceptionally intelligent and shrewd individuals, creating an edge-of-the-seat experience,” she further explains.

Producer Rajesh Agrawal expressed his elation about venturing into Kannada with this project, and spoke about how creative changes were made to the original story to ensure it resonated with the audience’s nativity thereby resulting in a well-crafted film made on a substantial budget.

While Sricharan Pakala has composed three songs for Yadha Yadha Hi, the film has cinematography by Yogi and editing by Srikanth.
