Vijay Kiragandur, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and Tara get Shri Raghavendra Chitravani Special Awards

The 47th Anniversary of Shri Raghavendra Chitravani along with the 21st and 22nd Annual Awards Ceremony was held a couple of days ago. Awards were presented to various film personalities for their contribution to the Kannada film at this grand event.
The Shri Raghavendra Chitravani Special Awards, headed by Sudheendhra Venkatesh, were presented to producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar of PRK Productions, and actor Tara. A total of 16 awards were given for both the years 2021 and 2022.

The Annual Shri Raghavendra Chitravani Awards were started by Venkatesh’s mentor and uncle D V Sudheendhra 18 years back. After the demise of DVS in 2006, Venkatesh continued the tradition his uncle started and has been giving away awards continuously.
Sudheendra Venkatesh is a pioneer in Public Relations in the Kannada film industry. The organization has been working as a bridge between Kannada cinema and media for the last 47 years.
