Megha Shetty is feeling sentimental as she prepares to shoot her final scenes for the popular TV serial, Jothe Jotheyalli. The actor, who became a household name with this family drama, directed by Aroor Jagadish, is set to say goodbye to the television serial and small screen. "My four-year journey with Jothe Jotheyalli is coming to an end. I had a close bond with the entire crew, and it almost felt like a second family," says Megha Shetty, who adds that her teleserial journey taught her a lot and gave her the break she needed in films. She also thanked her fans for their huge support in this journey.

Megha is bidding farewell to the small screen to concentrate on her film career. After making her debut in Tribble Riding with Ganesh, Megha went on to star in Dil Pasand with Krishna. Now, she is awaiting the release of Dhanveerrah's Kaiva, directed by Jayathirta, and is wrapping up the final schedule of After Operation London Cafe, featuring Kaveesh Shetty as the lead, and directed by Sravan Raghavendra.

Furthermore, Megha shares that she's currently in discussions with several filmmakers and has some exciting projects lined up. "Now that the serial is over, I can focus solely on cinema. I'm hearing lots of interesting narrations from different filmmakers, and it's just a matter of finalising what's best for me from the lot."
