Prem initiates discussion with superstar Chiranjeevi for his next project starring Darshan, decision pending

Challenging Star Darshan has a range of interesting projects. He eagerly awaits the release of Kaatera on December 29, and his next venture will be directed by Prakash Veer, shooting for which will begin early in 2024.

Another highly anticipated film starring Darshan, alongside Prem, is stirring up talks. The director, known for casting popular actors, from across different regions, has approached Telugu Superstar Chiranjeevi for an extended cameo. Although Prem has met Chiranjeevi and pitched the script, the veteran actor's decision is pending.

If Chiranjeevi joins, it marks his return to Kannada cinema after 22 years since his debut in Ravichandran's Sipayi, where he appeared in a special role in the timeless hit song, Snehakke Sneha. The collaboration between Prem and Darshan has already sparked significant excitement among movie enthusiasts. Their previous film, Kariya, released in 2023, is hailed as a cult classic. Currently, Prem is filming a multilingual project, KD, starring Dhruva Sarja.
