Kiran Kumar V's Mardini, which marks the debut of Ritanya Huvanna, is set to be out on September 16.
Billed to be a suspense thriller, a circle inspector's investigation into a crime is the central plot of Mardini.
Backed by Bharathi Jaggi and Jagadish Jaggi, the cast of Mardini consists mostly of newcomers with debutant Akshay playing a special character.
Mardini will also feature Inchara Joshi, Rachna, Manmohan Rai, and Sushmita in prominent roles. The presence of a husky dog is said to be a highlight of Mardini, which has music by Hithan Hassan, and cinematography by Arun Suresh.
