Sushmita Damodar, the winner of the Miss Bengaluru title and runner-up of Miss Karnataka, is all set to make her acting debut in Kannada. An MBA graduate, she is now excited to face the arc lights. The newbie has completed shooting for a film, titled Dark Fantasy, which is now in the post-production stage. The actor will soon join the sets of Aadisidaatha. She has also signed her first Telugu film, Chai Kahani, as the female lead.
Sushmita, who has been into dance and theatre, always wanted to make a career in acting. "I have worked as a character artist in a few films, I have also been part of the single video -- Truth Or Dare, which will soon release. Though I have been offered roles on the small screen, I did not accept it because I want to make it big on the silver screen."
