Rakshit Shetty and the team have completed shooting 50 per cent of Sapta Sagaradaache Yello a couple of days ago. Now, the actor has to put on 15 kg for the team to begin shooting the second half of the film.

According to the film’s director, Hemanth M Rao, Rakshit will require a minimum of 40 days to put on that weight. Sharing some exclusive pictures with CE, the director, in a freewheeling chat says, “The intense romantic drama is set in two different timelines - 2010 and 2020. Rakshit’s transformation is a key to show the difference,” explains Hemanth.

Here are some exclusive pictures from Sapta Sagaradaache Yello:

The director says that yet again covid-19 has delayed the shooting process. “If not, we would have completed shooting for the film by now. Unfortunately, we lost a lot of time. We managed to complete the shoot under a lot of constraints,” says Hemanth, who has chosen Bengaluru and  Shivamogga as the primary locations.

“We have shot in many areas of the city, which went well. But it was also quite taxing. The last leg of shooting was tiring because of the night curfews and weekend lockdowns. Portions, which could have been shot in one night, took us three nights, and the budget shot up,” he adds.

Sapta Sagaradaache Yello marks Rakshit’s second collaboration with director Hemanth. The duo worked together in the latter’s debut Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu. Bankrolled by Paramvah Studios, the upcoming film has music  scored by Charan Raj and cinematography by Adhvaitha Gurumurthy. The romantic drama features Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead.

Rakshit Shetty is said to be simultaneously getting ready with the script of his next project, Richard Anthony. He will be teaming up with Hombale Films for this project, which will mark his come-back directorial after Ulidavaru Kandante.
