Vikram Prabhu, who made his acting debut with 2012's Kumki, directed by Prabhu Solomon, recently talked about the film's sequel. While speaking to the press and media about his upcoming film Sirai, Vikram said that Kumki's story was completed with the first film itself and suggested that there was no scope for a sequel to it. Vikram revealed that he was aware of Prabhu's plan to do a Kumki sequel long back, but that he wondered how it would work as he thought its story ended with the first film. The actor also shared that he did not want to be part of the project for this reason, and that he only knew about the existence of a film titled Kumki 2 and little else. "One Kumki was enough," the actor said.
