Netflix unveiled the trailer of its upcoming Money Heist spin-off prequel series Berlin, on Tuesday. The series will focus on the jewellery thief and Professor's right-hand Andres de Fonollosa, or famously called Berlin.
Actors Pedro Alonso will be resuming his role of Berlin in the series, which is set to premiere on December 29.
The trailer shows Berlin once again orchestrating an heist, this time targetting one of the expensive auction houses of Paris. From plotting to plunder the catacombs of Paris, to romancing by the Eiffel Tower, the trailer shows how the central character navigates through the heist. We also see cop characters Alicia Sierra and Raquel Murillo making appearances.
Berlin is created by Esther Martínez Lobato and Álex Pina, with David Oliva, David Barrocal, Esther Martinez Lobato, and Álex Pina serving as writers. The cast of the series include Michelle Jenner, Begoña Vargas, Julio Peña, Tristán Ulloa, and Joel Sánchez among others.
