A promo still of Korean drama Our Beloved Summer

Our Beloved Summer, the new Korean drama offering on Netflix in India stars Parasite actor Choi Woo Shik in the lead role.  After the success of his Oscar-Award winning film, this is the first Korean drama that Woo Shik will be seen in.

The female lead of the show is Kim Da Mi. She was previously a part of Itaewon Class, and her performance was appreciated by fans and critics.

How many episodes does Our Beloved Summer have?

Our Beloved Summer consists of 16 episodes, and it premiered on December 6. It airs on South Korean broadcasting networking SBS. The show's streaming rights, however, are with Netflix. That is how it garnered the attention of audiences in India.

Our Beloved Summer has an original soundtrack composed by BTS idol V. This song was featured in the first episode, and a teaser of the same came out on social media. It resulted in the show getting hyped up by the fans of BTS as well.

It is about two former high school sweethearts meeting years after their break up. Neither of them has moved on from the relationship and yet, their egos do not allow them to reach out to each other. How a forced interaction throws a spanner into their plans of staying as far away from each other as possible is the crux of Our Beloved Summer's plot.
