The trailer of Luv Ranjan- backed romantic-comedy Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar, featuring six newcomers is out. Helmed by first-time director Anuj Saini , the film marks the debut of Sparsh Walia, Alisha Chopra, Kunal Vaid, Sakshi Vaidya, Tushar Chhibber and Sargun Kaur Luthra.
The film revolves around three friends—two guys and a girl who go for their school reunion and get into different relationships. As these relationships progress, they discover the trials, tribulations, allure and absurdities of love. The film has a very Pyaar Ka Punchnama vibe with the friends constantly bickering and bantering amongst each other.
Talking about the film Luv says, “Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar is rooted in memories we all keep going back to - school, friendships, crushes and the people who made those years special. While the characters belong to a younger generation, the emotions are universal.”
Director Anuj Saini adds, “The film is very special to me as my directorial debut, and I couldn’t have asked for a more exciting bunch to begin this journey with.”
Presented by Luv Films, the film is produced by Luv and Ankur Garg. It is scheduled to release in theatre on October 23, 2026.
