Filmmaker and Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan recently entered into a deal with BeingU Studios, leading them two commercial units in Oshiwara, Mumbai, for a monthly rent of Rs 7.3 lakhs.
The three-year agreement for the commercial premises, who has a total area of 5574 sq-ft, commenced on August 1 and will last till July 31, 2029. The contract provides annual escalation at the rate of 5 percent, under which the monthly rent for 2nd year will amount to nearly Rs 7.67 lakhs and Rs 8.05 lakhs in third year. These figures are according to property documents accessed by CREW matrix, which were officially registered nearly a week ago.
This latest transaction falls under a broader expansion of real estate dealing by the Roshan family, which have included both major purchases and sellings. Earlier, in August 2026, Rakesh alongwith his wife Pramila Rakesh Roshan, leased a residential apartment in Juhu under a three-year agreement for a monthly rent of Rs 5 lakhs. Around the same time, Hrithik Roshan had leased nearly 6,000 sq ft of office space to Clearsynth Labs for a monthly rent of Rs 17 lakhs and security deposit of Rs 68 lakhs.
Earlier this year in January, Rakesh Roshan had also sold a Pune land parcel for Rs 15 crores.
On a professional front, Hrithik Roshan was recently seen in an extended cameo appearance in the Alia Bhatt-Sharvari starrer Alpha. He is also set to make his OTT debut as a producer with two major projects — a long-form series titled Storm and Pratik Gandhi starrer film Mess.
Meanwhile, updates are awaited on the much-anticipated Krrish 4, which has been a long time in the pre-production stage. The shooting for the film, co-produced by Yash Raj Films and Rakesh Roshan, is expected to commence by end of 2026.
