The song 'Aisi Meri Vibe' from actor-director Kunal Kemmu's upcoming film Vibe dropped on YouTube on September 07, Monday. Since its release, the song has garnered over 16 million views. Sung by Kanfuzion, Khillari and Irfana, it has music by Kanfuzion and lyrics by Khillari and Irfana. Many have responded positively to the song.
The latest to groove to the trendy track is Indian cricket team's former captain and current opening batter Rohit Sharma. On Thursday, Rohit shared a video where he can be seen praising the song and grooving to its lyrics with his former Mumbai Indians teammate Dhawal Kulkarni. At one point in the video, Rohit shows Dhawal how to perform the hook steps of 'Aisi Meri Vibe' before the two of them do it in unison while enjoying the song. Kunal left a comment, saying, "Whaaaaaaatttt!!!"
Besides Kunal, the upbeat and energetic song also features Preity Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Vanshika Dhir. Sparsh Shrivastava, especially, has grabbed the audience's attention with his dance performance in the song video. Meanwhile, Vanshika Dhir makes her debut with a role in the action-comedy-thriller film.
Besides directing and starring in the film, Kunal Kemmu also serves as its producer, backing it with Chirag Nihalani under the Drongo Films banner in association with Amazon MGM Studios.
Kunal made his directorial debut with the comedy film Madgaon Express, starring Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary, Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye, and Chhaya Kadam. Madgaon Express earned positive reviews from critics and audiences after its March 2024 release. According to reports, Madgaon Express earned around 50 crore from theatres and is regarded as a 'sleeper hit'.
With Vibe, Kunal is looking to replicate the success of his debut film. It is set for a September 18 release in theatres.
