On Tuesday, the makers of Don't Be Shy released the second single from their film, titled ‘Tere Sang.’ Ram Sampath, known for his music in films like Delhi Belly (2011) and Talaash (2012), is the composer for the film.
Sung by Armaan Malik and Yaashasvii Ddasane, ‘Tere Sang’ is a youthful romantic number with a groovy beat. Just like ‘Jhoomo,’ the first single of the film that was released a few days ago, ‘Tere Sang’ too has a retro vibe to it with heavy influences of 1980s’ synthpop. The lyrics are penned by Ram Sampath and Devansh Vaidya.
In the music video, one can see the two protagonists making the most of their date night after they get locked in overnight at a grocery store, dancing together dreamily.
Speaking about the love song, Armaan Malik said in an official statement, “It beautifully captures the kind of love that makes you want to spend every moment with that one person and let your heart take the lead. I feel the song fits perfectly into the world of this film, where the characters are navigating love, emotions, and the beautiful messiness of growing up.”
Written and directed by debutant Sreeti Mukerji, Don’t Be Shy primarily revolves around Shyamili ‘Shy’ Das (Aarushi Bajaj), a 20-year-old girl who thinks she has everything figured out until her perfectly planned life takes an unpredictable turn, and things begin to spiral out of her control.
The film also stars Ansh Duggal, Bianca Arora, and Piyush Khati in the lead cast.
Don’t Be Shy will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on September 25, 2026. Produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt under the banner of Eternal Sunshine Productions, and co-produced by Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani from Chalkboard Entertainment, the film also features Kunaal Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Neha Dhupia, and Anju Alva Naik in pivotal roles.
