As Ramayana: Part 1 enters its 10-week window before its grand worldwide release, the makers of the much-anticipated mythological epic are leaving no stone unturned to make their promotions unique. Now reports are coming in that the Yash and Ranbir Kapoor, two leading stars of the film, will attend two grand events to be held in India a few days ahead of the film’s release.
According to a Mid Day report, while Ranbir is likely to meet his fans in Delhi on October 31, Yash is expected to lead the Bengaluru event, which is being planned for November 1. The report also states that the makers could hold a third event in Hyderabad as well, considering the pan-India ambitions of the film and the South market holding a huge chunk of the film’s target audience.
It is to be noted that Ramayana: Part 1 will be released for global audience first, followed by its Indian release. The film will release internationally on November 6, 2026, and is being planned as a Diwali release in India 2 days later, on November 8. During one of the interviews, producer Namit Malhotra had said, “The international distribution works from a Friday standpoint, so that's why it's releasing on the 6th of November. But in India, we are currently targeting the Diwali release.”
A few weeks ago, Ranbir and Yash alongwith Namit and director Nitesh Tiwari extensively interacted with many media outlets in the US to promote their film.
Also starring Sai Pallavi, Ravie Dubey, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, and Vivek Oberoi in the lead cast, the film has music by AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer. It is also being reported that Sunny Deol, who plays Hanuman, will make an entry only in the climax of the first part.
