Director Avinash Arun's Prahaar: The Ujjwal Nikam Story opened in theatres on Friday to mostly positive reviews from critics. Starring Rajkummar Rao as lawyer Ujjwal Nikam and Lalit Prabhakar as terrorist Ajmal Kasab, the film tells the story of the titular attorney's involvement in cases related to the Bombay Blasts of 1993 and the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. The comparison has not gone down well with Hansal Mehta, who had to wait for a long time to have Shahid released on a streaming platform. For the unversed, the 2013 film had its digital premiere on Prime Video in late September, marking a 13-year-long gap between it and the original theatrical release. The latest film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikandar Kher, and Ashish Vidyarthi, among others.
