Abhishek Banerjee and Divyenndu, actors who are famous as Compounder and Munna bhaiyya in the Mirzapur franchise, will soon be seen together in a drama series.
The show will be led by Abhishek and is backed by Endemol and Prime Video.
The audiences have a reason to be excited once again as Compounder and Munna Bhaiya come up again, not for another gangster drama, but for an entirely different shade of an empire drama, promising visual grandiosity, scale and layered performances.
The plot, character, director, and other cast details for the show have been kept under wraps.
After the release of Mirzapur: The Movie, Abhishek is also set to make his Tamil debut on Netflix with a show starring R. Madhavan, Nimisha Sajayan and Gulshan Devaiah, expanding his repertoire beyond Hindi cinema. Adding another dimension to his line-up, the actor will also headline a high-octane action drama opposite Tiger Shroff, directed by Remo D’Souza. He also has a psychological thriller with TVF in the pipeline.
Divyenndu, on the other hand, is all set to lead an intriguing period film after which he will dive straight into Kunal Kemmu’s Madgaon Express 2.
