On Thursday, Alia Bhatt shared behind-the-scenes stills featuring Ranbir Kapoor clad in his Lord Ram costume and interacting with their daughter Raha from the set of his film. In the stills, Ranbir can be seen kissing and gently holding Raha Kapoor amidst a break in the shoot for the film.
"You poured everything into this one and somehow still had all of it left for her. So proud of you Ranbir and of every single person who brought their heart and soul to this incredible experience at the movies. Some stories are bigger than all of us & Ramayana is one of them," Alia Bhatt wrote. The actor has hidden her daughter's face in the pictures to ensure her privacy.
Ranbir recently told BBC News India that Ramayana came to him at the appropriate time in his life, around the time he became a father and wanted to become a better individual. Raha was born back in November 2022, and Ranbir's film went on floor in April 2024, reportedly. While the makers officially announced the commencement of production only later, the leaked pictures of Ranbir and Sai Pallavi from the set effectively confirmed it.
Ranbir added that Raha also expressed her interest in watching the film and that she has been to the Ramayana set multiple times. Interestingly, Ramayana would be the first film that Raha would watch on the big screen. Notably, the film's release coincides with her birthday, which falls on November 06, Friday.
So far, the film has opened to mixed to positive reviews from audiences and critics. According to data from the box office tracker Sacnilk, the film has earned around 34 crore from theatres so far.
