A day before the theatrical arrival of his film Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, Ayushmann Khurrana gave a special surprise to his fans as he dropped the reprise version of the love song ‘Dil Waale Chor’ online. Also starring Wamiqa Gabbi, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakul Preet Singh, the comedy entertainer is directed by Mudassar Aziz.
For the reprise version, Ayushmann collaborates with Rochak Kohli, bringing his signature warmth and honesty to the song. Originally composed by Rochak Kohli and voiced by Aditya Rikhari and Shreya Ghoshal in the film, 'Dil Waale Chor' now returns with a fresh soul in Ayushmann’s voice. The actor has also penned the lyrics in collaboration with Kumaar. Meanwhile, Mohit Dogra is credited for guitars in the reprised version.
Speaking about the track, Ayushmann Khurrana said, “The first time I heard Dil Waale Chor, it stayed with me. There was something beautifully unfiltered about the song - the emotion of the lyrics and melody.”
Talking about the reprised version, Ayushmann added, “When Rochak and I spoke about revisiting the track, the idea was never to simply recreate it, but to reinterpret it in a way that feels intimate and personal to my journey with music. I enjoy constantly evolving creatively, whether it’s through storytelling or songs that connect on a personal level. This collaboration with Rochak felt like the perfect blend of both worlds.”
Produced By Bhushan Kumar, Renu Ravi Chopra, Krishan Kumar, and Juno Chopra, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is the only major theatrical release this week.
