On Wednesday evening, Baweja Studios officially announced their next project with Ishaan Khatter. The film is titled Jugaadu.
The production banner shared a still from the muhurat shot, featuring Ishaan. Ishaan shared the update on his Instagram page, adding the caption, “Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for Jugaadu - My first in and as! Cooking with an incredible and passionate team to bring you this riot of an entertainer in cinemas soon.”
Jugaadu is being directed by Palash Vaswani, who is known for directing the popular OTT show Gullak. Incidentally, Jugaadu too features Vaibhav Raj Gupta and Jameel Khan in the ensemble cast. Other cast members include Abhishek Banerjee, Tania, Yamini Dass, Sukhwinder Chahal, and Nirmal Rishi.
In the technical team, Jugaadu has cinematographer Rangarajan Ramabadran, production designer Apurva Bhagat, and costume designer Karishma Sharma among others. Baweja Studios is bankrolling the project in collaboration with Ramesh Taurani, and Jaya Taurani of Tips Films.
Ishaan was last seen in Homebound, which was India’s official entry for the Oscars last year.
