The teaser and release date of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Chitrangada Satarupa starrer Main Actor Nahin Hoon was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday. The film has been written and directed by Aditya Kripalani.
Main Actor Nahin Hoon revolves around a banker (played by Nawazuddin) in Germany who is suffering from anxiety. He decides to learn acting via video calls from an actor (Chitrangada) who stays in Mumbai. The teaser gives us a glimpse of the relationship which is budding between these two people, continents apart, but united by some emotional truth.
The film is scheduled to release in theatres on May 8.
Sharing the teaser on his Instagram profile, director Aditya captioned the post, “Kabhi actor banne ka sapna dekha? (Have you ever dreamt of becoming an actor?) Main Actor Nahin Hoon releasing in cinemas on the 8th of May 2026. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Chitrangada Satarupa star in this drama about a banker learning acting from an actor across two countries- India and Germany.”
