Surpassing the incredible box office success of its success, Dhurandhar 2 has now emerged as the third highest grossing Indian film ever. Imtiaz Ali, who was present at the International Film Festival of India, congratulated Aditya Dhar and Dhurandhar 2 ‘for bringing audience to theatres.’
While clarifying that he hasn’t watched Dhurandhar 2 yet, Imtiaz Ali added, “I know that there are many beautiful things in it. People liked it a lot. I would like to thank them for bringing audience to theatres and I hope it continues. I would like to congratulate the Dhurandhar team.”
In the past few days, many notable Bollywood film figures like Siddharth Malhotra, Rakesh Roshan, Preity Zinta, and Kangana Ranaut praised Aditya Dhar and Dhurandhar 2 for their record-breaking success. However, the film has been more positively lauded by many in the south Indian film industries like Nag Ashwin, Allu Arjun, and Rajinikanth among others.
Meanwhile, Imtiaz Ali has a major release coming up with Main Vaapas Aaunga, which stars Vedang Raina, Sharvari, Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead cast. The period romance-drama is slated for theatrical release on June 12.
