Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have become parents to a second son. The actor announced the happy news on her Instagram handle on Sunday, expressing her excitement on giving birth to a baby boy.
"With immense gratitude and hearts full of love, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our baby boy today, 29th of March 2026," she wrote.
Sonam continued, "Our family has grown, and with his arrival, our hearts have expanded in the most beautiful way. Vayu is overjoyed to welcome his little brother, and we feel deeply blessed by this precious new life who has filled our home with happiness and grace. We are grateful to begin this beautiful new chapter as a family of four."
Several industry members, actors, along with friends and family commented on her post, sending their heartfelt wishes to her. Director-actor Anurag Kashyap, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajal Aggarwal, Dia Mirza, and Huma Qureshi, among others were some wrote below her post.
The actor announced her second pregnancy in November last year. Sharing her baby bump, Sonam captioned the post, "Mother." She married businessman Anand Ahuja in 2018. They welcomed a son, Vayu, in 2022.
Sonam is known for films like Delhi-6 (2009), Aisha (2010), Raanjhanaa (2013) and Neerja (2016) but since becoming a mother, she has not featured in many films or series. Her last work was an OTT film called Blind which came out in 2023.
