Tiger Shroff, who remains one of the rare stars of current times known for his love and penchant for action and fitness, opened up about his insecurities and journey of fitness in a recent interview. The actor also spoke about how his love for Bruce Lee kicked off his journey.

Speaking with Lilly Singh on her talk show Shame Less with Lilly Singh, Tiger said, “I'm a very insecure person. I know change is constant, but I'm scared of change as well. I like to hold on to things. I am constantly insecure about the way I look. For example, if I don't exercise for a day, I wake up the next morning looking at myself in the mirror and I'm like, ‘Is this the end of the world? I'm not looking the way I did yesterday.’ I'm a little obsessive in terms of the whole physicality and the aesthetic that I'm chasing.”

At the same time, Tiger shared that he is driven by this sense of insecurity in a way. “The insecurity pushes me. The fear of failing pushes me. When a movie doesn't do well, or if I'm critiqued a certain way, this is what drives me. I'm motivated by my fear, my insecurity. And that is my drive in life,” he added.

Tiger also recalled his childhood memories, noting how his love for Bruce Lee and some of his movies shaped his early love for fitness. "I've just been really drawn to and obsessed with physicality, pushing the human body to its physical limits ever since I was four or five years old. I saw Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon for the first time on television and I knew that's what I wanted to be like," he recalled.

Tiger Shroff was last seen in the action entertainer Baaghi 4, which released in September last year.
