

The upcoming International Film Festival of Delhi, will pay tribute to veteran actor Dharmendra, who passed away in November, 2025. Actor and Member of Parliament, Hema Malini, shared her eagerness for the festival and spoke about the tribute.
"I would like to congratulate Rekha Gupta ji for organising the International Film Festival in Delhi. It is going to be there for 4-5 days. She has also invited many artists. Many artists will be honoured at the festival. They are also paying tribute to Dharam ji... So, I will be there to receive it."
Dharmendra began his film career in 1960 with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi. He went on to star in Bandini (1963) and Phool Aur Patthar (1966). In the 1970s he began collaborating with Hema Malini, on Tum Haseen Main Jawan (1970), Sharafat (1970), Seeta Aur Geeta (1972) and Raja Jani (1972).
The IFFD is set to commence on March 25 and will conclude on March 31. The event will open at the Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, and will see the likes of Arjun Kapoor, Nimrat Kaur, Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Anupam Kher, and Lauren Gottlieb, in attendance.
