Amidst the rising tensions in the Middle East, many Indian Nationals now find themselves stranded in Dubai, with the International Airport there being closed since last night. Among those countless stranded Indian citizens was Jannat actor Sonal Chauhan who appealed to Prime Minister seeking help on Saturday night.

Taking to her social media page, Sonal Chauhan penned a detailed post where she tagged the Prime Minister. Her post read, “Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi Ji, I'm currently stranded in Dubai amid the ongoing crisis. Flights have been cancelled and no clear way to return to India. I'm seeking the government's guidance and support to help me get back home safely. I would be deeply grateful for any assistance from the Government and guidance for a safe return.”

Among other renowned personalities is Olympic medallist PV Sindhu, who too shared her travails in a social media post. Meanwhile, R Madhavan and his family, who have been living in Dubai since many years, are reportedly in US now.

The Indian Government has yet not made any formal announcement, about any possible assistance to stranded Indian citizens in Dubai and other parts of Middle-East. Meanwhile, foreign nationals stranded in India are requested to contact neared Foreign Regional Registration Office.
