A new poster for Mirzapur: The Movie was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday, along with the teaser release date of the film. The teaser for the film will be unveiled on Thursday (June 25).
The poster, shared on social media, features the coveted ‘gaddi’ (seat) of Mirzapur at the centre with guns placed on either side, hinting that the film, just like the series, will be about the power struggle amidst different factions to rule over the city.

Mirzapur: The Movie is a theatrical film based on the characters of the acclaimed Prime Video series Mirzapur (2018). The film will see actors Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Abhishek Banerjee, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Sheeba Chaddha, Harshita Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, and Rasika Dugal, reprise their roles. New entrants to the project are Jitendra Kumar, Sonal Chauhan, Sushant Singh, and Ravi Kishan.
Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur: The Movie is directed by Gurmeet Singh, written by Puneet Krishna, and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The film is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani and is slated for a theatrical release on September 4 this year.
