On June 30, Amazon MX Player announced Raktanchal season 3 and dropped a teaser for it. Director Ritam Srivastav's political crime thriller brings back actors Kranti Prakash Jha and Nikitin Dheer in their respective roles, alongside Rajesh Kumar, Karan Patel, Vikram Kochhar and Mahie Gill.
The series set in Purvanchal is inspired by real events, and its third season promises a more explosive chapter than the previous two instalments as it continues the rivalry between the characters of Waseem Khan (Nikitin Dheer) and Vijay Singh (Kranti Prakash Jha).
According to Amazon MX Player, the teaser for Raktanchal season 3 offers a first look at a chapter that is relatively more volatile, personal and dangerous as compared to the existing instalments.
Raktanchal season 3 is set to release soon on Amazon MX Player, although the streamer is yet to announce the specific date. Ahead of its release, the makers spoke about what to expect from the upcoming season.
Speaking about his franchise's comeback with a third season, director Ritam stated, "One of the things that has always made Raktanchal connect with audiences is that beneath all the crime and conflict, it is ultimately about people, their ambitions, insecurities, loyalties, and the consequences of the choices they make.
