Earlier today, Akshay appeared on video through social media to wish his frequent collaborator, one of Indian cinema's most popular filmmakers, on his birthday. The actor wished the filmmaker well for his upcoming projects before saying, "Also a friend of mine wants to wish you sir." Eventually, Vidya Balan makes a surprise appearance in the video, a bit like her character in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and says, "Happy birthday Priyan sir and all the best for Bhooth Bangla."
