TVF, popular for its slice-of-life dramas, is coming up with another series on similar lines, titled Family Kirana Store. The official teaser of the series was unveiled on Wednesday.
The show revolves around a middle-class family in a small town, where the family head — the father figure — is obsessed with his little grocery store, yet always struggling to bring in more customers while tackling multiple threats like robberies, fake notes circulation and man more. What’s worse, the shop is built alongside their house. As a result, the lines between family and business often get blurred, leading to some chaotic fun in the family.
Shrikant Verma, Garima Vikrant Singh, Hemant Mishra, Baishali Sinha, Abhishek Jha, Mihir Rajda are the primary cast members of the show. Family Kirana Store is written by Hemant Mishra and Prakhar Sharma. Prakhar also helms direction for the show, in association with Saksham Arora. Vijay Koshy serves as the producer.
In the technical team, Gaurav Ponkshe is the cinematographer and Chetan Shrivastava is the music composer. Bajrang Yadav is the production designer.
The first epoisode of Family Kirana Store will begin streaming on Friday, February 6.
