Ahead of the teaser’s release at 12 pm, Ranveer Singh shared the first poster of Dhurandhar 2 via social media on Tuesday morning. The second part of the box office juggernaut, titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, will land in theatres on March 19.
The blood-red poster has Ranveer as Hamza Ali Mazari/ Jaskirat Singh Rangi drenching in the rain as “The Revenge” is written in the background. “Ab Bigadne Ka Waqt Aa Gaya Hai (It’s time to mess things up),” Ranveer has captioned the post.
The film’s teaser is scheduled to be shared by the makers at 12.12 pm on Tuesday.
As Ranveer has also tagged Akshaye Khanna in the post, there are reports circulating that the actor, who played the fan-favourite role of Pakistani gangster Rehman Dakait, will make a return in the sequel probably in some flashback scenes.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a spy thriller that released on December 5. The film featured Ranveer as an Indian spy infiltrating Karachi’s underworld and dismantling their nexus with terror groups. The film also starred Akshaye, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. The film has emerged as one of the biggest hits in Bollywood history, minting over Rs 1300 crore worldwide. Dhurandhar has been produced by Aditya Dhar along with Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. It is presented by Jio Studios and is a B62 Studios production.
