We had recently about announcement of Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming film Gunmaaster G9, a high-octane actioner. The film is set for theatrical release on November 27 this year. On Tuesday, the makers unveiled the official teaser of their film.
By the looks of it, Emraan Hashmi plays a secret agent in the film, a ferocious man who has travelled across the Pakistan border for a dangerous mission. However, the man, who is also a strong devotee of Lord Mahadev, must cross all barriers and overcome all threat… to reunite with his beloved, for which he can take on any danger that lies in his path. The film borrows its title from a popular character in the 1979 film Surraksha, played by Mithun Chakraborty.
While the teaser doesn’t reveal the beloved’s phase, Genelia Deshmukh plays the female lead in the film. The supporting cast of the film includes Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Singh, Snehill Mehra, and Inayat Verma.
In the technical team, the film has Keiko Nakahara and Anik R Verma helming cinematography and Devendra A Murdeshwar as the editor. Additionally, the production design is by Sunayana S Sabherwal and Juhi Talmaki. The action for Gunmaaster G9 has been choreographed by Ravi Varma, Real Satish, Raj Shinde and Vikram Dahiya.
Directed by Aditya Datt, the film is written by Junair Wasi and Sarim Momim. Presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment, Gunmaaster G9 is produced by Deepak Mukut, Sangeeta Ahir and Hunar Mukut under SRE Studios.
At the box office, Gunmaaster G9 will clash against Sharvari-Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Yeh Prem Mol Liya. Incidentally, both the films have music by Himesh Reshammiya.
Meanwhile, Emraan is basking in the massive box office success of his latest film Awarapan 2. The film is all set to enter the Rs 200 crore club at global box office, on Tuesday.
