Netflix has announced that its upcoming crime drama, Kartavya, is set to premiere on May 15. Saif Ali Khan, who led the cast of Netflix's Sacred Games, returns to collaborate with the streamer for the upcoming film.
Kartavya was announced earlier this year by Netflix, among their new slate of films and series. Pulkit, who has previously directed Bhakshak, is directing the upcoming film. Kartavya is backed by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner.
The cast of Kartavya includes Rasika Duggal, Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, and Manish Chaudhari.
In Kartavya, Saif Ali Khan plays a police officer who has to decide the extent to which he will go for his duty, even as his family's life is on the line.
Saif's latest film release was Jewel Thief (2025), which premiered on Netflix in April 2025. Directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, the film also starred Jaideep Ahlawat, Nikita Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor, among others.
