The makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai released their new single ‘Wow’ on Friday. The upcoming comedy entertainer, starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde, is set for theatrical release on May 22.
Sung by Harrdy Sandhu and Kiran Bajwa, ‘Wow’ is an extremely groovy dance number, with glitzy production values and lot of sensuality, courtesy its lead actors Varun, Mrunal and Pooja who amp up the sizzle in the music video. Rony Ajnali and Gill Machhrai have penned the lyrics, besides composing the groovy number in association with Tanishk Bagchi.
‘Wow’ successfully sets the stage for a youthful entertainer that focuses on the urban audience. Directed by David Dhawan and produced by Ramesh Taurani, HJTIHA also features Maniesh Paul, Chunky Pandey, Jimmy Shergill, and Mouni Roy in the supporting cast.
In the writing team, the film has Yunus Sajawal who has penned story and screenplay, and Farhad Samji who has written the dialogues. In the technical team, the film has cinematographer Ayananka Bose, editor Ritesh Soni and production designer duo Rajat Poddar & Parijat Poddar.
At the box office, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will compete against films like Bandar and Chand Mera Dil.
