Actor Abhishek Bachchan recently spoke about what he feels like when walking the red carpet alone or with his actor wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In a conversation with Lilly Singh, Abhishek said that he finds it daunting to walk the red carpet. "Then, if I have to do it with her, it is terrifying," Abhishek admitted.
The actor said that it is the cacophony around him when walking the red carpet that makes him feel uncomfortable. He added that there is a sense of professionalism to the idea of doing it that does not come naturally to him. "Professionals are so good at it. However, I am like this block of wood. I do not know what to do. I feel very awkward about it," a candid Abhishek said.
Abhishek Bachchan also stated that he once tried to give a serious look to the cameramen clicking their pictures to make it look professional, only for them to ask him why he is unhappy. "I did it once. I thought I would just give them a look. And they asked me, 'Sir, humne kya galti ki? Aap itne naraz kyu dikh rahe ho?'"
On the work front, Abhishek was most recently seen in Kaalidhar Laapata, director Madhumita's Hindi remake of her own Tamil film KD. The actor's upcoming films include Raja Shivaji with actor-director Riteish Deshmukh and King with Shah Rukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand.
