Anil Kapoor-headliner 2013 spy-thriller series 24, a Hindi remake of the American show of the same name, will be making a comeback on JioHotstar. The show originally aired on Colors TV.

Episodes from both seasons of the thriller will be available on the streaming platform from April 24 onwards, with eight episodes dropping every Friday.

Anil took to his Instagram to make the announcement. He shared a promo video and captioned the post, “Against the clock, against all odds! Let’s do this! @jiohotstar #24onJioHotstar.”

Talking about the re-release, Anil said, “I have played many intense and action-driven roles over the years, but 24 was never just another show for me, it was an adrenaline rush like no other.”

“The pace, the pressure, and the real-time storytelling pushed me to stay constantly on edge, both as an actor and as a storyteller. It’s a project that challenged me in the best way and continues to be very close to my heart,” he added.

24 revolves around Jai Singh Rathore (Anil) chief of the Anti-Terrorist Unit who has to thwart the plans of assassins who are going to kill the country’s Prime Minister elect while also saving his own family from terrorists. The show also starred Neil Bhoopalam, Ashish Vidyarthi, Tisca Chopra, Sapna Pabbi and Mandira Bedi, among others.
