Manoj Bajpayee on season 3 of The Family Man: Operation underway

Actor Manoj Bajpayee took to social media on Sunday to share some stills from The Family Man on occasion of the series’ first season completing six years. Created by Raj and DK, the spy comedy-drama’s first episode streamed on September 20, 2019.

Manoj also shared that the third season of the show is also upcoming and is an “operation underway.”

“6 years since The Family Man Season 1 dropped and became a cult classic.
Season 3? Bas samajh lo, operation underway…” Manoj captioned the post.

The first look of season 3 of the show was unveiled earlier this year. It showed Jaideep Ahlawat being added to the series’ cast as the antagonist. The new season will also feature Nimrat Kaur.

The first season of the series premiered in 2019 and told the story of middle-class man Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj, who works for the special cell of the National Investigation Agency. While the first season followed Srikant and others investigating a terror attack, the second season, which premiered in 2021, explored the military resistance of Tamilians from Sri Lanka. It ended with a glimpse into the potential conflict in season 3 involving a Chinese attack on India. The third season of the show is reportedly set in Nagaland.
