Some mimicry artists are so good at impersonating others that they even dub for actors in films and web series. However, when artist Sumedh Shinde revealed that he dubbed for none other than Aamir Khan in Aaryan Khan's directorial debut The Ba***ds of Bollywood, it left many viewers in awe of his talent. Sumedh shared a clip from the series where Aamir asks the series' lead actor Lakshya to choose between Idli Sambar and Vada Pav. When Lakshya picks Vada Pav, it leaves Aamir infuriated, making him tell the former to "just get lost". The main point of the scene is to induce laughter. In the caption of the post, Sumedh wrote, "Thrilled to have contributed a small but interesting part to the English dub of Netflix's new show Bads of Bollywood."

Many users commented under the post, saying, they would have considered it Aamir's original voice if Sumedh himself did not reveal the same. The impersonation is so perfect that Sumedh had to clarify that he only dubbed for Aamir in English for the show. "Just like other Netflix show/movie, this show is also dubbed in multiple languages. So when you change the language to 'English' its my voice, only for these lines. In original Hindi, its Aamir Khan himself. Hope it clears the doubt," wrote the mimicry artist.

This is not the first time Sumedh did Aamir's voice. The artist made quite the splash years ago when he appeared for an Indian Idol audition, only to impress the judges not with his singing prowess but rather his mimicry. His impersonation of Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Akshay Khanna, and so forth caught the eye of the judges, Anu Malik, Sonali Bendre, Alka Yagnik, and Javed Akhtar.

Meanwhile, The Ba***ds of Bollywood has been earning plenty of appreciation after its recent release on Netflix. In our review of the series, Shreyas Pande wrote, "Aryan isn’t as geeky in his references as Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om (2007) nor as probing in his outlook as Zoya Akhtar’s Luck By Chance (2009). Still, he instills his filmmaking with a meta-memory of actors."
