Shabana Azmi has turned 75 today, and many actors from Indian cinema are extending their warm regards and sharing their memories with the legendary actor on the special occasion. Urmila Matondkar, who played one of Shabana's daughters in Shekhar Kapur's 1983 drama Masoom, shared a photograph from the film and reminisced about working with the great actor. Saying she felt a bit "nervous" to see Shabana while working on the film back then, Urmila said that she has been "blessed to have" the latter in her life cheering, inspiring, loving, guiding." She went on to add, "Deeply cherish the bond we share. Happy birthday Queen!! U rock 75 the best."
On the other hand, Divya Dutta, who has acted with Shabana on films such as Chalk n Duster and Sheer Qorma, talked about her fond affection for the legendary Hindi actor. "I would never be able to put my love for you in words...," wrote Divya before adding that Shabana has been her favourite actor ever since she saw her on the big screen. She also said that Shabana has something about it that inspires her every day, "including that naughtiness!!!"
At the same time, Tannishtha Chatterjee made a birthday wish to Shabana, calling her "the most incredible woman I know." The other day, Shabana gave a shout out to Tannishtha for the selection of her film Full Plate for a premiere at the Busan International Film Festival. "To Tiger Tan as she heads to Busan International Film Festival with her directorial venture which she completed during her cancer treatment. You rock of Gibraltar," wrote Shabana about Tannishtha back then.
